Fork

Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of aluminum, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels
The Myka HT Sport 2009 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Myka HT Sport comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
