Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
When it comes to wheels, the Pure Lowstep bike is equipped with the 26″ aluminum model. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Pure Lowstep comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
