The Nevada 2.0 comes factory-installed with the SunTour XCT fork. This has a travel range of 70mm. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Wheels size
The Nevada 2.0 2006 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Stopping the bike when needed, it’s essential for your safety. This bike has Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
