The wheels on Rig are the 29″ aluminum type. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, these wheels are not ideal for smaller people.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Rig has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
