KU2 DISC components
Fork material
KU2 DISC has an aluminum fork, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels
The KU2 DISC 2022 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Megamo KU2 DISC is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
