If you want an acceptable Crosscountry bike you should know that the average price is 1905$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Crosscountry bike. Wheels size
The Opie 2005 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Gary Fisher Opie is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
Sizes
Opie comes in 5 sizes, that range from 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, finding one for you shouldn’t be a problem.
