Fork
The RST CAPA is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 80mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Wheels size
The Horizon 2019 bike is equipped with 29″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Having 29″ wheels means that you need less fork travel, leading to a reduction of the pedal bob effect. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Author Horizon is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
