Fork

Wheels size
The Horizon 2019 bike is equipped with 29″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Having 29″ wheels means that you need less fork travel, leading to a reduction of the pedal bob effect. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Author Horizon is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
