Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the Ghost Grappler bike is equipped with the aluminum model. The 650b wheels are very similar to 700c, with a slight difference in diameter. However, they don’t perform so well when you go over bumps and obstacles.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Surly Ghost Grappler has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
