Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Zulu One model has 14″ aluminum wheels. This wheel size is used on bike models like BMX, children, or folding bikes. In conclusion, they are great for flat ground or very easy trails.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Prevelo Zulu One has Coaster brakes installed. These brakes are pretty efficient, and they’re not so pricey. However, if your chain falls off or snaps, your coaster brakes won’t function anymore.
