When leaving the production line, the XEF 1.9 Factory model has 27.5″ aluminum wheels. The 27.5″ wheels are a great choice for smaller riders. However, the overall traction of 27.5″ wheels is lower than 29″ wheels.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The XEF 1.9 Factory has Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
