However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Crosscountry bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. X Vert Elite components
Fork
The Suntour XCM is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 100mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. To sum it all, when buying a bike, ensure that you look for a fork capable of decent travel.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the X Vert Elite bike is equipped with the 29″ aluminum model. Having 29″ wheels means that you need less fork travel, leading to a reduction of the pedal bob effect. However, these wheels are not ideal for smaller people.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Corratec X Vert Elite is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
