XTEP Lynx 5.5 Pro-L components
Fork
The XTEP Lynx 5.5 Pro-L comes factory-installed with the Fox Rhythm Float 34 fork. This has a travel range of 150mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the FOX FLOAT DPS Performance rear shock model, which has a travel of 140mm. Rear shocks improve riding comfort and give you greater control over all terrains. In conclusion, to increase your riding experience, get a bike with a rear shock if possible.
Wheels
When it comes to wheels, the XTEP Lynx 5.5 Pro-L e-bike is equipped with the 29″ aluminum model. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, if you’re not a tall person, you might find it difficult to adapt to this wheel size.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. BH XTEP Lynx 5.5 Pro-L is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
