Overview of components
Fork
The SunTour XCT is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 100mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Wheels
The wheels on Lana’i are the 27.5″ aluminum type. The 27.5″ wheels are a great choice for smaller riders. However, the 27.5″ wheels are less forgiving than the 29″ wheels.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Lana’i has Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
Lana’i comes in 5 sizes, that range from 147 cm – 195 cm (4.82 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
