Average price for Touring bikes
If you want an acceptable Touring bike you should know that the average price is 1007$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Touring bike. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
Beyond components
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels size
The Beyond 2020 bike is equipped with aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. 650b wheels make a great choice if you want to sacrifice speed for comfort. However, they don’t perform so well when you go over bumps and obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Beyond comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
Sizes
There are 5 sizes available for this model. Rider height can be anywhere between 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
