Mega 290c Factory components
Fork
The Fox Factory Float 36 is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 170mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Rear Shock

Wheels
The Mega 290c Factory 2020 bike is equipped with 29″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Having 29″ wheels means that you need less fork travel, leading to a reduction of the pedal bob effect. However, the 29″ wheels will add a little more weight to the bike itself.
Brakes
