Safety
When cycling always take safety very seriously. Wear a helmet, obey the traffic rules and wear hi-vis clothes. In short, take care of yourself so others can take care of you.
Track bikes average price
If you want an acceptable Track bike you should know that the average price is 1503$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Track bike. In short, before purchasing your ideal bike do some research about its components, and also check for reviews online.
Track bikes average weight
If we make a quick analysis of the average weight of a Track bike, we get 7.85 kg (17.31 lbs). You will have a greater advantage on climbs if your bike is easier than the average. On descents, however, a heavier bike will give you extra speed.
a bit heavier than average, Needle has a weight of 8.6 kg (18.96 lbs). To sum up, it’s 9.55% heavier than the average weight of Track bikes.
Needle components
Fork material
Needle has a carbon fork, so, it won’t add up to much weight to your bike. However, the price you have to pay for a carbon fork is considerably higher.
Wheels size
The wheels on Needle are the 700c aluminum type. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Needle has Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
Sizes
Needle comes in 4 sizes, that range from 158 cm – 199 cm (5.18 ft – 6.53 ft). In short, you can easily find one that suits you.
