Stinson components
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has a steel one, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
The Stinson 2018 bike is equipped with aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. After 700c wheels, 650b is the second most popular choice for road bikes. However, if speed is what you’re after, 700c wheels are a better fit.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Marin Stinson is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
