Fork
The fork installed on this bike is the RockShox Pike RCT3 model. The travel on this model is 150mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the RockShox Monarch RT3 DB rear shock model, which has a travel of 140mm. Bike rear shocks increase the riding comfort, and also give you more control over technical trails. To sum up, always consider getting a bike that has a rear shock as well.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Five RS model has 27.5″ aluminum wheels. 27.5″ wheels are a mixture between 29″ wheels and 26″ wheels. However, these wheels have a slower top speed if you compare them to 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Orange Five RS has Hydraulic Disc brakes installed. Hydraulic disc brakes provide amazing stopping power, no matter what the terrain. To sum up, your safety is in good hands.
