The fork on this bike is made out of aluminum, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.

When it comes to wheels, the Plateau bike is equipped with the 26″ aluminum model. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
