About this model
Turbo is part of the Specialized E Turbo model. Specialized released 1 e-bike variation of this model so far.
Safety
Make sure you wear a helmet on every ride, and that your bike performs well. In short, this means checking the tires, brakes, and chain to make sure everything is in good working order.
Average price for Hybrid e-bikes
Our math shows that the average cost of a dependable Hybrid e-bike is 2480$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Hybrid e-bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. As a general rule of thumb, you should always read reviews about the e-bike and its components before buying it to ensure you don’t pay too much.
Internal Cable Routing
It’s also important to mention the internal cable routing that this e-bike has. In short, this will allow you to keep your bike cables in great condition. Say goodbye to hanging cables.
Turbo components
Fork material
The fork is made out of aluminum, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the e-bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Turbo model has 700c aluminum wheels. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Specialized Turbo is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
There are 4 sizes available for this model. Rider height can be anywhere between 158 cm – 199 cm (5.18 ft – 6.53 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
