Fork material
The fork is made out of carbon, so, its weight is considerably lighter than one made out of steel. However, they cost a bit more than steel forks.
Wheels
The Tarmac Elite 2015 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Specialized Tarmac Elite has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they have problems in wet conditions.

Tarmac Elite comes in 6 sizes, that range from 155 cm – 191 cm (5.09 ft – 6.27 ft). In short, it won’t be difficult to find the right one for you.
