Overview of components
Fork
This bike has the RockShox Domain fork installed. The fork’s travel is 200mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Rear Shock
From the factory, it comes with the RockShox Kage R rear shock model, which has a travel of 200mm. Rear shocks offer better comfort, better traction, and better cornering. This allows for quicker riding on rough roads and trails. In short, a full-suspension bike will give you the smoothest ride possible.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the PRECEPT 200 model has 26″ aluminum wheels. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
Stopping the bike when needed, it’s essential for your safety. This bike has Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
This bike is available in 3 sizes. They vary from 158 cm – 187 cm (5.18 ft – 6.14 ft). In conclusion, it won’t take much to find one that’s right for you.
