Wheels size
The Skye S 26 2015 bike is equipped with 26″ wheels when leaving the factory. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Skye S 26 has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
