Fork
The SunTour XCT is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 80mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels size
The Myka Disc SE 26 2014 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Myka Disc SE 26 comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, performance-wise there is room for improvement.
