SPLICE components
Fork
This bike has the SunTour NEX fork installed. The fork’s travel is 63mm. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. In short, you should always ensure you have a good fork when purchasing a bike.
Wheels size
When it comes to wheels, the SPLICE bike is equipped with the 700c aluminum model. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The SPLICE comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
