When leaving the production line, the TM500+ Lowstep BLX model has 700c aluminum wheels. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The TM500+ Lowstep BLX comes with Hydraulic Rim brakes. They are a bit expensive, and don’t deliver such a great performance. In short, you can look for a bike with disk or hydraulic disk brakes.
