Safety
Your safety is a top priority so always wear a helmet when you ride your bike. Moreover, wear the right clothing. You want to be visible to other drivers, so avoid wearing dark clothing.
Crosscountry bikes average price
Our math shows that the average cost of a dependable Crosscountry bike is 1905$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Crosscountry bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. To make sure you don’t pay a higher amount than normal for your bike, always do some components analysis and read reviews.
Lele components
Fork
The fork installed on this bike is the RockShox Recon Gold RL model. The travel on this model is 100mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In conclusion, always look for a fork with decent travel when you buy a bike.
Rear Shock
The Lele has a rear shock with a travel of 100mm. The model Fox Float RP2 BSD is the one installed in this bike. Rear shocks offer better comfort, better traction, and better cornering. This allows for quicker riding on rough roads and trails. To sum up, get a full-suspension bike if you want the smoothest rides.
Wheels size
As for the wheels, Kona Lele 2012, has a 26″ aluminum model. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Kona Lele is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
