Thunder components
Fork
The SunTour XCT is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 100mm. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Thunder model has 26″ aluminum wheels. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Thunder comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
Thunder comes in 5 sizes, that range from 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, finding one for you shouldn’t be a problem.
