As for the wheels, Trek Classic Women’s 2012, has a 26″ aluminum model. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Classic Women’s has Coaster brakes installed. These brakes are pretty efficient, and they’re not so pricey. However, they have flaws, especially if the chain falls off.
