Fork material
The fork is made out of carbon, so, it won’t add up to much weight to your bike. However, the price you have to pay for a carbon fork is considerably higher.
Wheels
The Vita Comp 2011 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Specialized Vita Comp has Rim brakes installed. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
