Average price for Cyclocross bikes
If you want an acceptable Cyclocross bike you should know that the average price is 2012$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Cyclocross bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has an aluminum one, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the JAKE model has 700c aluminum wheels. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Kona JAKE is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
