MAHUNA components
Fork
Kona MAHUNA 2011 bike is equipped with the SunTour XCT fork, and has 100mm travel. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. In short, you should always ensure you have a good fork when purchasing a bike.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the MAHUNA model has 29″ aluminum wheels. With 29″ wheels, bumps will feel lighter and you’ll gain more speed on descends, compared to smaller wheel-sized bikes. However, 29″ wheels will make your bike react slower to obstacles you may encounter.
Brakes
