When leaving the production line, the Skye SL model has 26″ aluminum wheels. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Skye SL has Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
