Average price for Comfort bikes
If you want to purchase a solid Comfort bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 360$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Comfort bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
Overview of components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of steel, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
The wheels on Pure are the 26″ aluminum type. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Trek Pure is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
