Overview of components

Wheels size

The 7100 WSD 2011 bike is equipped with 700c aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. These are the most popular wheels for road, aero, gravel, cyclocross, race, and gravel bikes. However, while they give you great speed and control, these wheels are not so bump-friendly.

Brakes

When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The 7100 WSD has Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
