LANAI components
Fork
Kona LANAI 2010 bike is equipped with the SunTour fork, and has 63mm travel. Bike forks absorb the shocks and give you a smooth and pleasant ride. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Wheels
The LANAI 2010 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The LANAI comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, with hydraulic disk brakes, you have the ultimate braking power!
