The LANE-EX comes factory-installed with the Fox Factory Float 38 fork. This has a travel range of 170mm. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. To sum it all, when buying a bike, ensure that you look for a fork capable of decent travel.
