Safety
When cycling always take safety very seriously. Wear a helmet, obey the traffic rules and wear hi-vis clothes. In short, take care of yourself so others can take care of you.
Average price for Crosscountry bikes
If you want to purchase a solid Crosscountry bike, it is important to know that the average cost is 1905$. However, this doesn’t mean that if you spend less money on a Crosscountry bike, you couldn’t get a decent one. In conclusion, always check bike reviews and their components before making a purchase to make sure you don’t overpay.
Overview of components
Fork
The Laurito comes factory-installed with the SunTour fork. This has a travel range of 75mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has an aluminum one, so there won’t be much extra weight added to the bike. However, they are not so stiff as carbon forks are.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Laurito model has 27.5″ aluminum wheels. These wheels will provide you with more control over the bike. However, the 27.5″ wheels are less forgiving than the 29″ wheels.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The Laurito has Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
