Capitola components
Fork
The RST CAPA is included from the factory. It has a travel distance of 63mm. Bike forks are perfect to absorb shocks and provide a great riding experience overall. To sum up, when buying a bicycle, make sure you get a fork that is capable of delivering decent travel.
Wheels size
When it comes to wheels, the Capitola bike is equipped with the 26″ aluminum model. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Gary Fisher Capitola has Rim brakes installed. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
