Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of steel, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the Quist model has 20″ aluminum wheels. The 20″ wheels are a good fit for folding bikes, BMX, or children bikes. In conclusion, they are great for flat ground or very easy trails.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Quist comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
