The BLAST comes factory-installed with the RockShox 30 Silver TK fork. This has a travel range of 100mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, you should always ensure you have a good fork when purchasing a bike.

The BLAST 2015 bike is equipped with 27.5″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 27.5″ wheels are a great choice for smaller riders. However, the overall traction of 27.5″ wheels is lower than 29″ wheels.
