Cruiser bikes average price
According to our math, the average price for a trustworthy Cruiser bike is 332$. However, paying less money than this amount doesn’t mean that you couldn’t get a great Cruiser bike. To sum up, when you purchase your bike, make sure to check if it has reviews, and also do some components research.
Overview of components
Fork material
The fork is made out of steel, which is tougher than carbon in the case of an impact. However, it can add some extra weight to the bike.
Wheels size
The HUMU 2011 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The HUMU comes with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
