Overview of components
Fork
The SASQUATCH comes factory-installed with the Marzocchi fork. This has a travel range of 160mm. Bike forks are good shock absorbers and provide a smooth ride and a great experience. In short, make sure you choose one with a decent fork when you purchase your dream bike.
Wheels
The SASQUATCH 2009 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The SASQUATCH comes with Mechanical Disc brakes. They are much easier to maintain than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
SASQUATCH comes in 5 sizes, that range from 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In conclusion, you won’t have a problem finding one that suits you.
