Model Overview
Rival 20 is part of the Redline Rival model. Redline launched 6 bikes of this model so far.
Safety
When you go for a ride, don’t forget to put your helmet on. Moreover, ride with traffic, not against it. This will help you stay visible to drivers and also makes it easier for them to see you.
Average price for BMX bikes
If you want an acceptable BMX bike you should know that the average price is 348$. However, even if your budget is less than the average, you might still be able to get a top-quality BMX bike. In short, before purchasing your ideal bike do some research about its components, and also check for reviews online.
Overview of components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of steel, which tends to be more flexible than carbon forks in general. However, a carbon fork is considerably lighter.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the Rival 20 model has 20″ aluminum wheels. This wheel size is used on bike models like BMX, children, or folding bikes. In conclusion, you can use them better on-road, and less on technical terrain.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Redline Rival 20 is equipped with Rim brakes. Slightly lighter than hydraulic brakes, rim brakes are a budget choice. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
