FSRxc Women’s components
Fork material
When it comes to the fork, this bike has an aluminum one, which doesn’t add too much extra weight to the bike. However, it is not so stiff as steel or carbon forks are.
Rear Shock
Specialized FSRxc Women’s bike has the X-Fusion RLA Air model installed, and has a travel of 100mm. Rear shocks offer better comfort, better traction, and better cornering. This allows for quicker riding on rough roads and trails. In short, a full-suspension bike will give you the smoothest ride possible.
Wheels size
When leaving the production line, the FSRxc Women’s model has 26″ aluminum wheels. These wheels give you great handling over your bike. However, they provide less traction than 29″ wheels do.
Brakes
When you want to stop the bike in time, the brakes are vital. The FSRxc Women’s has Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, you could spend a little extra and get a bike that has hydraulic brakes.
