P.1 components
Fork material
The fork on this bike is made out of steel, so, it can add some extra weight to your bike. However, steel is a pretty tough and durable material.
Wheels
When leaving the production line, the P.1 model has 26″ aluminum wheels. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Specialized P.1 is equipped with Mechanical Disc brakes. They deliver good performance and cost less than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
