Wheels size
The 3700 2006 bike is equipped with 26″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 26″ wheels are lighter than the 27.5 or 29″ wheels. However, they are less forgiving when riding over obstacles such as bumps and roots.
Brakes
Nothing is more important on a bike than its ability to brake properly. Trek 3700 is equipped with Rim brakes. Rim brakes deliver an average performance overall. However, they are not nearly as effective as hydraulic brakes are.
