Cronus components
Fork material
Cronus has an aluminum fork, which is a lighter material. However, it is not as tough, nor durable as steel is.
Wheels size
The wheels on Cronus are the 26″ aluminum type. Being a little smaller, these wheels will fit both small and tall riders. However, you will need increased suspension than in the case of 29″ wheels.
Brakes
For your safety, it is important to have quality breaks on your bike. Trek Cronus has Mechanical Disc brakes installed. These brakes are also very popular, and a lot cheaper than hydraulic disk brakes. However, they don’t have the stopping power of hydraulic brakes.
Sizes
Cronus comes in 5 sizes, that range from 156 cm – 195 cm (5.12 ft – 6.4 ft). In short, you can easily find one that suits you.
