The Lara 2012 bike is equipped with 24″ aluminum wheels when leaving the factory. The 24″ wheels are a good fit for folding bikes, BMX, or children bikes. In conclusion, they are great for flat ground or very easy trails.
Brakes
We ride faster and faster, so a good braking system is essential on a bike nowadays. The Lara comes with Rim brakes. Rim brakes are cheaper than hydraulic brakes, and also easier to maintain. However, they have problems in wet conditions.
