Fork
The Compact ASL comes factory-installed with the RST NEON fork. This has a travel range of 60mm. Bike forks are great for shock absorption and provide you with a smooth ride. To sum it all, when buying a bike, ensure that you look for a fork capable of decent travel.
Wheels
As for the wheels, Author Compact ASL 2022, has a 700c aluminum model. There is no doubt, that 700c wheels are very popular on all road bike models. However, these wheels don’t perform so well when passing over obstacles.
